The weekend we have all been working towards is close at hand.
The team is on its way to Budapest for the second round of the Rugby Europe 7s Trophy tournament. The excitement within the squad is high, as are the expectations.
Throughout the “lockdown”, the elite rugby players have been training hard and training smart. Coach Viliame has been travelling the length and breadth of Norway to ensure a consistent approach to the game plan and improvement in specific areas. Our National Team gatherings in Oslo and Stavanger have shown the positive results from this method of coaching.
The elite players are the product a strong rugby family and support network. From these elite players a team of 12 will travel to Budapest. The players are accompanied by a management team of 4; Alice Little (manager), Viliame Tirikula (coach), Elizabeth Sonnenholzner (physio) and Kaja Drews (video analyst).

Norway competes in the match on Friday 9th July, kl10:00 against Czechia. 3 other pool matches on Friday, with the placing matches on Saturday. Follow all the build up and behind the scenes action on Instagram.
