Oslo Australske Fotball
The Oslo Crows are Oslo’s first, and foremost, Australian Rules Football team. We play a smaller 9-a-side format of the traditional Aussie Rules game, and compete against our rivals the Ås Battlers in a mini summer competition (we’re currently the only 2 Aussie Rules teams in Norway). We also attend the annual AFL Europe Champions League tournament (most recently held in Amsterdam), along with attending or hosting the occasional friendly match with our neighbouring countries (2020 we will be visiting Helsinki for a friendly match!). We train every Thursday at Voldsløkka from around March to October from kl18. Our skill levels range from Beginners to Pretty Good, our ages range from 20ish to 40ish, and we have a handful of women playing in the competition as well. In summary: All players are welcome!
Whilst we work hard at training, and we enjoy the 5-10 games we play each year, there is also a large focus on “topp stemning” and incorporating a lot of social activities into the football schedule, which includes an annual “footy trip” and an organised “AFL Grand Final viewing” event at a local pub.
